This is an Live Oak Father Sing mechanical pencil. Designed by author and professional woodturner Dick "Father" Sing, this is Dick's favorite style. The narrow, larger diameter center band gives the finished pencil a double-taper look reminiscent of traditional "click" style ball point pens. The pencil is made with durable 10k gold plated accents. The pencil is specially designed to feed the correct amount of 0.7mm lead with each click of the plunger top. The eraser is under the plunger cap and the eraser is pulled out to refill the pencil with 0.7mm leads. A highly polished lacquer finish was used to protect the wood. These hand made pens and pencils make wonderful gifts and are absolute treasures to own!
