This is an attractive decorative Blue Oak Natural Edge bowl. The Blue Oak tree fell on a homeowners property in Walnut Creek, California and the wood was removed in April 2010. Wonderful as a salad bowl. The bowl can be used for serving salads, crackers, chips, nuts, wraped candy, and other such items. It is finished with a clear, food safe finish which also enhances and shows off the interesting character of the wood. Clean the bowl after each use with warm water and mild detergent. Wipe dry immediately.
