The wood in this blond colored natural edge bowl is from a California Modesto Ash tree that was taken down by a Pleasant Hill homeowner in January 2007. The bowl is finished with a clear, food safe salad bowl finish which also enhances the color of the wood. It can be used for serving salads, chips, crackers, and other such items. Clean the bowl after each use with warm water and mild detergent. Wipe dry immediately.
