This is a turned mushroom made from the beautiful wood of the cork oak tree. It still has the bark attached so you get quite an interesting effect. It can't be seen well in this photo but the top of the mushroom has a crack and a crack in the base which adds character to this item. A satin finish was used to protect the wood.
