This is an interesting shaped decorative Modesto Ash Natural Edge Bowl made from the wood of a tree taken down on Jan. 2007 because of breaking limbs damage to home roof in Pleasant Hill, California. The bowl is finished with a protective food safe finish which also enhances the color of the wood. Although this is a decorative bowl, it can be used for serving salads, chips, crackers, and other such items. Clean the bowl after each use with warm water and mild detergent. Wipe dry immediately.
