This is a small Modesto Ash bowl that has been painted white. It is designed for rosemalling, toll painting or other style painting. It was made from a storm damaged tree that had to be taken down in Pleasant Hill California. The bottom is thick and heavy so it will not tip over easily. It may also be used as a candy or nut bowl. The bowl is not intended to hold liquids.
